If you are accruing a pension with us through your employer, we send you a Uniform Benefit Statement (UBS) every year. Your UBS shows the pension you will receive when you retire or you become incapacitated for work. It also shows the pension your partner and children will receive in the event of your death.
Do you know if you have sufficient pension? For this you need insight into your income and your expenses for later. Is there a possibility you might have insufficient income? You can still take action now. Regurlaly check your pension; Geldplan Pensioen on the Nibud website has a handy tool that can help you with this.
You will find your UBS in your digital archive at Mijnpensioen.asr.nl. Sign in using your DigiD. If your UBS is not in your archive, please contact us.
Your factor A is shown in your UBS. You only need your factor A if you have an annuity scheme and you are saving for extra pension. You use the factor A to calculate whether you can deduct part of the contribution you paid or lump-sum contributions from your taxable income in a year. You must be able to demonstrate that you are accruing less pension than the maximum permitted. This is also known as the annual margin.
If you have left employment, you will have received a separate ‘End of Membership’ benefit statement. This will show the factor A for the calendar year in which you left employment. This End of Membership benefit statement is also available at Mijnpensioen.asr.nl.
If you have left employment and you have accrued an annual pension of less than € 2, your pension will lapse. Further details are available at Pension and resignation or dismissal.

Your UBS will only include a fees and benefit accrual statement if you have the possibility of investing your pension capital. This statement shows:
At the head of your UBS, you will see the type of pension scheme you have: a defined benefit agreement, a capital agreement or a defined contribution agreement.
If you have a partner and you meet the conditions for partner’s pension, first check your UBS to see whether it shows amounts for your partner and children in the event of your death.
Your partner and children are already insured. You do not need to inform us of the details of your partner and children. We will be notified automatically by the municipality in which you live in the event of death.
We send you your UBS by 30 September. Either in digital form, or by post. We also place your UBS in your digital archive at Mijnpensioen.asr.nl at the same time. You can check it any time. If you have not received your UBS by October, and there is no UBS in your digital archive, please contact us.
If you want a full statement of your pension and your state pension, go to Mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl.
In this case, you have been divorced in the past or your registered partnership or cohabitation has come to an end. Your ex-partner had accrued a pension with us at that time. You and your ex-partner had made an agreement regarding the division of this pension. The part you are entitled to is shown in the ‘Benefit Statement Ex-Partner’. This shows how much pension you will receive from us if your ex-partner retires or in the event of their death.
The UBS gives an indication of the pension you can purchase in the future. You can opt for a fixed pension or a variable pension on your retirement date. The example shown assumes you will choose a fixed pension.
