Improve your health and earn points!

Have you found out your a.s.r. Vitality Age in the ‘Know your Health’ section? Then it’s time to really get started! You can do this by exercising daily to earn Vitality points. You can use these points to earn weekly and monthly rewards.

Make sure your tracker is properly connected

On the Activity trackers & fitness apps page, you can find out how to pair and synchronise your activity tracker or fitness app to earn Vitality points.

Your personal weekly goal

Each week, you’ll get a variable personal weekly goal. On Monday in your first week, you start off with 300 points. Your next weekly goal will be based on your results. The app not only looks at the past week, but also at previous weeks. Your weekly goal may even increase, even if you have never reached your goal. We do this to challenge you to keep on exercising. If the goal turns out to be unrealistic, your weekly goal will drop again. The lowest weekly goal is 300 points and the highest 800.

This is how to achieve your weekly goal

How you achieve your weekly goal is up to you. You can earn points by the number of steps you take each day, by raising your heart rate, by making bicycle rides and by taking sportlessons. If you want to know how many points different activities earn you, go to 'Status' in the app. Scroll down to 'Earn points', and tap on 'start now’. Once you have recorded your exercise activity, you can see it under 'Activity' under your weekly goal.

Get active and earn points

You earn Vitality points for daily exercise. The points you earn by exercising count towards your weekly and monthly goals and your Vitality Status. You can earn points in 4 different ways:

  • With an app on your smartphone that tracks when you exercise
  • With an activity tracker that records your heart rate, such as a Fitbit or Apple Watch
  • With the a.s.r. Vitality Fietsapp (Bicycle app) that registers your daily kilometers cycled
  • With sportlessons that you book via the a.s.r. Vitality app

Synchronise your activity tracker

Don't forget to regularly synchronise your activity tracker with the Vitality app. We explain here how to do this for each activity tracker and app.

Sync your app within 6 days of the start of a new week. If you don’t do so, you won't reach your weekly goal for the previous week and you will miss out on points.

The week runs from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59. If you want to include all your points from the previous week, you have to sync with the app before Saturday at 23:59.

 

Get rewarded

In addition to the weekly rewards you can earn by exercising for your weekly goals, you can also earn monthly and annual rewards. You can find all you need to know about the topic ‘Earn rewards’ here. (In Dutch)
